All senior managers at Aion are professional veterans in the information technology field whose industry knowledge and manage-ment expertise have been enriched in the evolution process of business inf-ormation systems and the changes of information software industry that th-ey went through. Common guiding principles, a strong centripetal force, and coherence within the executive management team further contribute to the coperation among team members as they lead all other staff to stand up to challenges and pursue ambitious growth goals.

President
Ms. Lan-Ying Hsu
President Hsu graduated from Japanese Department of Fu-Ren Universi-ty, and Taiwan Secom Co., Ltd. was the first company for which she worked. From an office clerk as a new recruit, Ms. Hsu has held positions all the w-ay up through manager, executive director of administration, and division manager, to vice general manager at service headquarters and general ma-nager at the general administration. In the 28th year at Taiwan Secom, she took over of Aion president in 2005, and is currently the highest ranking fe-male executive in the Taiwan Secom Group. In President Hsu’s own words, she said, “Despite the seemingly impressive title, what I am really proud of is the fact that I was the Taiwan Secom Group’s first employee. In the pro-cess the company grew were traces of the devotions from my youthful past, which I also take pride in! I am telling you this to convey a signi-ficant me-ssage to the younger generations -- the company gives opportunities to an-yone who is willing to grow with it and helps him or her pave a career path to a brighter future. I would also like to stress that all executive managers see it a managerial challenge to find strengths in every staff member, as-sign duties and tasks accordingly, and help them to grow.”

Deputy Chairman
Mr. Vincent Lin

A knowledgeable professional holding J.S.D. and MBA degrees and enthusiasm for business, Mr. Lin is committed to leading Aion in the ever-changing technology industry by helping to root deeply in the company a persistent innovative spirit, technology expertise that meets the internati-onal standards, and a “Customers First” service philosophy. His aims are to secure Aion’s leading position in the industry on the one hand, and to work hand in hand with all staff members on Aion’s way to “Standing Firmly in Taiwan and Surveying the Entire World” on the other. Deputy Chairman Lin wishes that Aion would not only become an excellent service provider of comprehensive technology security and integrated information software sol-utions, but also achieve the leading brand status in technology security in the greater China region.


General Manager
Mr. Ying-Chun Chen

Vice General Manager Chen has continued to innovate and develop new software since he joined the Taiwan Secom Group in 1989. Mr. Chen was transferred from the Taiwan Secom when Aion was established in 1995. He led a project to develop the JADE system in cooperation with British Airw-ays and SpeedWing Logica, and flied to the Philippines and Indonesia to assist installation. The focus of research and development was shifted to ATM monitoring and VVS (Video Security System) in 2002, in which Mr. Chen seized a golden business opportunity for the Taiwan Secom group by inte-grating DVRs and video servers of various manufacturers. In 2003, the mo-bile surveillance system was successfully developed, and was formally ad-opted in the Taiwan Secom’s MiniBond GPS recovery service in 2005. Using AGPS – a satellite navigation system used for determining one person’s pr-ecise location and providing a highly accurate time – and the assisted pos-itioning systems at mobile phone base stations, MiniBond provides servi-ces ranging from Location Query, Remote Protection, and Scheduled Notifi-cation Service, to Emergency SOS, which are the most advanced both in terms of precision and practicality.


General Manager’s Office Chief Consultant
Ms. Diane Yeh

An IT veteran with over thirty years of experience, Ms. Diane Yeh joined the Software Group of Aion Technologies in 1995 and successively held the positions of vice general manager and consultant. Not only does Ms. Yeh possess abundant experience in software design, planning, development, and introduction, but she has also planned a series of computerization pro-cess and operation integration mechanisms for a number of established businesses in the fields of manufacture, logistics, security, stock and se-curities, and aviation. She has also contributed to the successful online operation of several core systems within the Taiwan Secom Group and hel-ped lay a strong software technology basis for Aion.

 

Brief Introduction to Company Divisions

First Software Division (Soft I)

Soft I makes use of financial management system for the integration, application, and development of e-business that meets challenge from this age of mobile technology. It can be used simultaneously by the headquar-ters, transnational subsidiaries, cross strait tri-regional applications, and general administration for business groups, and was awarded the outstan-ding accounting software certificate by the Department of Commerce, MOEA. In the aspect of aviation information systems, Soft I has accomplished the establishment of the following three theme systems:

  1. DIAMONDS (Distributed Inventory And Maintenance Object Oriented Design System) features four kinds of functions, including supply, maintenance, cost, and knowledge management. The current number of detailed functions of the entire system has exceeded 1,700.

  2. Air Crew Information Management System establishes flight records, analyzes causes of flight delays, and analyzes and manages flying hour and payment calculation for two successive sets of cabin crew of the same plane.

  3. Sales Representative and Commercial Account Management Systemestablishes, analyzes, and maintains comprehensive information re-lated to commercial clients and responsible persons.

Second Software Division (Soft II)

Soft II is mainly responsible for security related projects, including de-veloping software required by industries concerned as well as supplemen-tary surveillance facilities to facilitate software integration. Our current scope of business includes the physical security industry, banknote deli-very industry, building management industry, and security guards. A series of related projects have also been developed for other security related ind-ustries. Since different businesses fall into different businesses categor-ies and develop unique operation processes, we suggestions in accordance with the needs of each business and customize complementary systems to meet their specific needs. We also develop integrated software for specific security items, such as DVR and fingerprint reader, and make security faci-lities more than standalone pieces of equipment, but an integrated part of the business monitoring center to cut down maintenance costs as well as enable clients to carry out real-time based interaction and immediately re-sponse should any abnormal conditions arises.

Third Software Division (Soft III)

Third Software Division is chiefly responsible for the business of door access and attendance control system, on-line shopping website, as well as manufacturing ERP system.

  1. Door access and attendance control system:  It integrates the inform-ation of current available card swipe machines, and inputs attendance records of the staffs into attendance system. Data, which indicate the daily attendance records of the staffs including late arrival, leaving early, absence from work without justification, working overtime, and requests for days off, are created as references for the chiefs. Furth-ermore, they are inserted into salary system for calculating wages. The system can be customised according to clients’ requests.
  2. On-line shopping website: We offer an on-line trading platform, which includes shopping platforms of customers, products from back-stage, as well as management system of members, companies, orders, cash flow and logistics. It can also be utilised to connect internal billing system within the enterprise.
  3. Manufacturing ERP system: In accordance with the environment of ma-nufacturing, functions as purchasing system, inventory system, produ-ction system, quality management, human resource system, fixed ass-ets, ledger accounting system, accounts receivable, accou-nts payab-le and cost accounting are developed.

Software Business Division

System Service Division

Business Cross-Platform Integration Service: In response to the ren-ewal of computer application systems and the introduction of electro-nic systems in businesses, we provide legacy system integration (Un-ix, Windows) service, including a variety of planning and consultation services, such as database conversion.

Business System Management Service: Including computer system, Internet system, and database system, etc. In short, it provides a co-mprehensive mechanism that facilitates effective information flow and safe storage of business data by introducing different management tools in accordance with business needs to satisfy benefits and effi-ciency in one go.
  3. Business Data Storage Solutions: The most pressing issue after a business becomes fully electronic is data storage. With the populati-on of open platform structure and the broadband Internet, however, multiple backups of data become an unavoidable trend. Apart from int-roducing advanced storage facility systems, such as NAS, SAN, and iSCSI to create an ideal environment for data storage, we also com-bine management tools with Internet systems to provide remote back-up system solutions.
  4.
