Specifications of NetScreen
- NS-25 or above series come with three high-speed Ethernet interfaces of 10/100Mbps ports as standard to support PCMCIA flash cards.
- Prevents a variety of attacks, such as SYN attack, ICMP Flood, UDP flood, Ping of death, IP spoofing, Port Scan, Land attack, Tear drop attack, Filter IP source route option, IP address sweep attack, WinNuke attack, java/ActiveX/Zip/EXE, Default packet deny, Dos & DDos.
- Provides the Policy-based Network Address Translation (NAT) function, Port Address Translation (PAT) function, and a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server.
- NS-25 or above series are equipped with the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) interfaces to keep outward-facing servers outside of the intranet.
- Provides PnP Transparent Mode (trust, untrust, and dmz) and route mode (trust, untrust, and dmz) that save you the trouble of setting any IP address.
- Equipped with the User Authentication function, with which you can build in user list or support the outer RSA SecurID, LDAP, and RADIUS server database.
- Equipped with Internet bandwidth and Traffic Shaping function, which allows the manager to determine priority for specific servers or information flows (ex. IP Address, user, application, or time of day) and guaranteed bandwidth.
- Standard Support: ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, RADIUS, IPSec (IPESP), MD5, SHA-1, AES, DES,3-DES,IKE (ISAKMP),TFTP (client) SNMP,X.509v3,DHCP, and PPPoE.
- Embedded with Web-based Configuration interfaces, Command Line Interface, and WebUI Secure Command Shell (ssh compatible).
- Interoperable with upgraded Web browser and TFTP Server software.
- Provides real-time support for functions such as Real time alarm and Logging (ex. event, alarm, and traffic).
- Supports the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
- Qualifications for Certification: ICSA IPSec, FCC, UL, CE, CUL, ICSA Firewall, C-Tick, VCCI, and BSMI.
- Equipped with Load Balancing, such as round robin, weighted round robin, least connections, and weighted least connections for its services.

- There is hardware firewall of ASIC chips inside.
- Provides Virtual Private Network (VPN), contains 3DES and 56-bit DES encryption, SHA-1 and MD5 certifications, and IKE Auto-key or Manual-Key management, as well as PKI X.509, ，ICSA certified IPSec and VPNC tested, Hub and Spoke techniques to relieve the burden of VPN tunnels configuration between ends.
